NEXT will provide outreach, engagement, job coaching and retention services. Additionally, NEXT will help remove obstacles to success. Partners will provide household budgeting, financial planning, and debt removal to maintain and advance employment and self-sufficiency.

Job Readiness Preparation
Services to assist adults ages 18+ to achieve self-sufficiency through employment, case management, and supportive services.

Career Clothing Closet
Professional attire clothing for individuals interviewing for and seeking work.

STEAM Academy
After school program to develop the interest and skills of children in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

Summer Enrichment Day Camp
Kids can enjoy daily classes in math, reading, dance, art, music, physical education, and life skills with weekly field trips.

College Scholarship Program
Scholarships to high school seniors, residing and attending school in Summit County, sponsored by community groups, corporations, and higher education institutions.

Minority Business Assistance Center
Provides free technical assistance to support the growth and sustainability of small, minority-owned, and disadvantaged businesses in the state of Ohio.

Minority Contractor Capital Access Program
MCCAP is a collaboration between the Western Reserve Community Fund and the Akron Urban League that provides financial and technical assistance to Akron and Summit County-based minority, women, LGBTQ+, Veteran and Disabled-owned businesses in the construction trades.
